Biden administration is surrendering to belligerent China

Washington: Chinese President Xi Jinping directly warned US President Joe Biden that the United States should not play with fire by supporting pro-democracy groups in Taiwan. Pelosi may also visit Taiwan during this visit, said the US official while talking to the media. Pelosi’s office has not released any details. But if Pelosi were to visit Taiwan, there were reports that the US military was preparing to protect her.

Jinping warned that otherwise, those who play with fire would burn their hands in the fire.

Meanwhile, the Chinese mouthpiece Global Times has revealed that Pelosi will have to pay the price for her visit to Taiwan. The editors of the Chinese mouthpiece threatened to attack Pelosi’s helicopter if it entered Taiwan’s territory. Although it has been two days since the President of China and then the Chinese mouthpiece issued the threats, US President Biden has refused to make a statement. Former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo criticised President Biden’s silent stance.

Pompeo said President Biden must fully support Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan. But Biden is capitulating to threats from a belligerent and authoritarian regime in China. This will send a wrong signal about the United States to the world. The United States is not a country under anyone’s influence.
