India to provide 5G technology to other nations

Washington: 5G service has been launched in India. But the important information about the ‘5G’ service started in India has not yet reached the public. The technology launched in India is entirely indigenous. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that India is ready to provide this technology to other countries. Finance Minister Sitharaman has said that the big market of ‘5G’ technology is available worldwide and India is ready to enter this market.

Moreover, 5G technology aims to reach every corner of India by 2024. India has not imported 5G technology from any country. It is manufactured in India. This thing should reach everyone now. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman further said that the country is proud of the success achieved on this front. Finance Minister Sitharaman, who is on a visit to the US, was speaking at a program at Johns Hopkins University in Washington.

India has ordered some parts for 5G technology from South Korea, but with this exception, India has not taken anyone’s help for this technology. This 5G technology framework and everything else has been developed by India itself, making India’s capabilities known to the world. Finance Minister Sitharaman also announced that India is now ready to provide this technology to other countries.

Furthermore, India is all set to make a significant contribution to the field of wireless technology. India’s role in technology, production and all other fronts in this field will be important in the future. Sitharaman said that the new India would not be a mere consumer of technology. Countries like China and the USA have taken the lead in the 5G sector. But this technology in China is under doubt. There are accusations that China is spying under cover of this technology.

Hence, some European countries, including the US, have banned China’s 5G technology. Chinese companies were also opposed to this issue in India. India had issued a notification that companies in the telecom sector will not be able to buy telecom equipment from China’s Huawei and other companies. Chinese companies were also barred from testing 5G services in India.

While Chinese companies have lost credibility in the 5G space, India has a huge opportunity to carve out its niche in the international market. Although not mentioned directly by the finance minister, there are indications that India’s technology will be more reliable. Thus, it could get a massive response from around the world.
