Tel Aviv/Tehran: – Tehran Times, an Iran government-affiliated newspaper, warned that one wrong step by the Israeli military against Iran would result in Iran targeting major Israeli cities. At the same time, the newspaper published a map of Israel marking all the major cities and other sensitive locations, with a threat that all these were within the range of Iranian missiles. The newspaper also criticised the appeal made by Israel to the European countries to adopt a tough stand against Iran in the Vienna talks.
Since the last few days, Israeli leaders and senior military officials have warned of attacks on the Iranian nuclear facilities. Israeli Defence Minister Benni Gantz even delivered a message during his US visit that the date has also been fixed for the attack on Iran. The Iranian senior military officials had threatened that Israel would have to pay a dear cost for this mistake. The Israeli military also published a report that the attacks carried out by Israel on the Iranian chemical weapons manufacturing facilities in Syria in March 2020 and June 2021 was a warning for Iran.
The reaction has been received from Iran over these Israeli warnings. The Iranian newspaper Tehran Times threatened Israel by publishing a map of Israel showing Israeli cities as targets for the Iranian missiles. Thickly populated Israeli cities have been portrayed as a red dot on the map. At the same time, the Iranian newspaper published that Iran is closely monitoring the Israeli movements, quoting Iranian Defence Chief Major General Mohammed Bagheri.
The newspaper used the statement made by Iranian supremo Ayatollah Khamenei eight years ago. The newspaper threatened that if Israel makes the mistake of attacking Iran, the Israeli cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa will be destroyed in the next moment. The newspaper also said that it is in Israeli interest to stay away from Iran.
