Nephew of Masood Azhar, part of the second Pulwama terror attack plan

Srinagar: Two days ago, the Indian security forces foiled a plot of a terror attack which was more dreadful than the Pulwama attack. The investigating agencies have received some important information regarding the terror plot. Pakistani commander Mohammed Ismail alias Fauji, involved in the attack, is the nephew of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief, Moulana Masood Azhar. At the same time, it has also been found that the car used in the attack was registered in the name of Hizbul terrorist Hidayatullah Malik.

Intelligence agencies received information that terrorist organisations Hizbul Mujahideen and Jaish-e-Mohammed were planning a terror attack more dreadful that the Pulwama attack. But the attack was successfully averted because of the alertness of the security forces. It was revealed that Pakistani terrorists Walid alias Musa alias Idlis and Ismail were involved in the attack. Ismail is a resident of Bahawalpur in Pakistan and is known as an expert in making IEDs. It has also been revealed that he was involved in the suicide attack carried out by the terrorists on the CRPF convoy on 14th February 2019.

Investigations are on into the matter where it was found that RDX had been used in the IED. Officials informed that nitric salts, ammonium nitrate and nitric glycerine were used in the IED as explosives. It has been revealed that the car carrying the explosives to execute the attack was registered in the name of Hizbul terrorist, Hidayatullah Malik. Malik is a resident of the Shopian district and had joined the terrorist outfit only last year. Malik’s brother has been detained and is being interrogated.

Following a chase by the security agencies, the terrorists escaped by abandoning the car filled with explosives in the Ayangund area of Pulwama. Thereafter, the security forces have cordoned the entire area and combing operation has been launched. Information that Hizbul and Jaish are planning a major terror attack was being received since the last week. IG of Kashmir police, Vijay Kumar, said that check posts were set up in the area on receipt of confirmed intel on Wednesday.

Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Riyaz Naikoo was killed at the beginning of the month. Hizbul chief Salahuddin had confessed that the killing of Naikoo was a major jolt to the terrorist organisation. Therefore, these terrorist organisations are fighting for their survival.

Meanwhile, the security forces arrested two terrorists in an action taken in the Kupwara district. A large number of arms and explosives was seized from them. Arrested terrorists were responsible for arranging safe hideouts and safe transportation for the terrorists.
