Srinagar: A post of the Pakistan Army was destroyed in the Indian retaliation against the ceasefire violation by Pakistan. It is also reported that the soldiers deployed at the base escaped from the post in view of the Indian action. But the Pakistan military has not revealed the damages suffered in the encounter to the media. Whereas, India has increased patrolling on the Line of Control (LOC).
The Pakistan army has increased the frequency of attacks on the LOC. Maximum incidents of ceasefire violation have been reported from Rajouri and Poonch districts. Since Sunday evening, the Pakistan army launched 150 mm mortar attacks in the Degwar sector and Khari Karmada region of Poonch district. No casualties have been reported in these attacks, and the Indian soldiers have already moved the local villagers to safe locations.
While retaliating against the violation of ceasefire by the Pakistan army, video of the Pakistan military post going up in flames because of the Indian action has been published. The Pakistan military post was completely destroyed in the attack by the Indian soldiers. It is claimed that the Pakistani soldiers deployed at the base escaped from there, fearing for their lives. Thereafter, no attacks were launched in the direction of the post.
In the last few weeks, the Pakistan army has increased the intensity of the attacks on LOC and Indian soldiers are retaliating in an equally strong manner. It is claimed that the Pakistan army has suffered a large number of casualties in the last month. But the Pakistan military is not willing to reveal the number of deaths. The family members of the Pakistani soldiers killed on the border are posting photographs on the social media, confirming that they were killed in the encounters on the India-Pakistan border. This is causing immense embarrassment to the Pakistan army.
